What trees remind us?

Assalamualaykum folks!!!!!!

Trees remind us of the past, serves as makers for the present and a gift for the future generation

Oh, please excuse me for too many exclamation there, well as my lovely sister always said, exclamation never fails to make things more interesting, isn't it? Now, let me explain the story behind those exclamations. Actually, I was just got out from the 'Original life' to my real life, yay!! Wait, does it means I am hallucinating all this time and just conscious back now? No, don't get me wrong, I called it as 'Original life' because, there is no devices connection to the outside world(Means other then this jungle area, in Belum), no cellphone, no internet, no TV and so with very limited electricity, we minimized our ordinary demands and totally connected ourselves with environment. Then, the next question is, why was I there right? I was hired to be so called 'environmental guide' even I never have a gut to declare myself as an environmentalist +_+. A month before the event, my team and me(rainwalker team), we prepared the materials for the participants, it's involved the expert and people, the Botanist, helps us to identify the flora and 'orang asli' (Indigenous people)help us to give the right direction for trekking. Ok, lets have a look at the very welcoming view of Sungai Enam camp, in Belum, where our event was took place,
Yes, they named it as 1st Malaysian Rainforest Scout Challenge

The last group of participants (The 4th day)

So at the real event I guide the participants for jungle trekking and do a simple biodiversity sampling  with a light talk along the trek on some remarkable species of flora in the jungle, their benefits and why we should conserve them (Some of them are even more qualified then me to do the talking ~_~). It was fun way to learn about nature and I enjoyed it, so do the participants, alhamdulillah. At the beginning I accepted this as a task and a trust that I need to fulfill but then I felt like this is a chance for me to contribute something for my nations and do it for Allah's sake. Yes don't forget people, everything we did as long as it is complies with syariat and we do it for Allah's sake, it will become ibadah, yay! as simple as that, so do whisper in your heart "I do this for sake of Allah" at every time you intend to do something and may Allah accepts our deeds. I enjoy the walking and talking and felt like I am a zoo guider (Yes we are in open zoo dude!). There are many wild animals in this jungle but fortunately there are not so friendly, they just left their footprints and craps behind and never say hi to us. Also there are awesome plants and trees all around us and most of them are sources of food, furniture and medicines!

“He created everything and determined it most exactly” (25:2) and “It is He Who appointed the sun to give radiance and the moon to give light, assigning it in phases . . . Allah did not create these things except with truth. We make the signs clear for people who know” (10:5)

Nothing in this world created with no reasons or purposes, even a small little things that we can't see with our bare eyes, has a very important role in the universe.

“He said ‘Our Lord is He Who gives each thing its created form and then guides it’ ” (20:49).
and everything in this very complex universe seems so systematic and committed with their purposes but then human make a huge chaos in this very uniform and safe place because of their greedy and impatient (Warning! You are entering the red political zone!) to                                                                                                    achieve the development. Lets be thankful to Allah, for His gifts and lets start preserve it before it's too late, nature give us a free services and yet we treated them badly maybe because we can't hear them. But the nature do speaks in their own language and now we started to understand it when the world is facing a very outmost disaster all around the world.  Do a favor for nature now and you'll do a favor for your next generation.
"Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of (the evil) which men's hands have done, that He may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return." (30:41)
"so call and go straight as you have been ordered to. Do not follow their whims and desires but say, I have iman (faith), in a book sent down by Allah and I am ordered to be just between you" . . . (42:13)

So what do we need to do? Even if we yell to the world, "Stop the logging for now, stop the animal hunting for souvenirs, let the nature recovers!!". No one will hear us, just start it with ourselves first and then spread to people around us about the environmental issues, you can make a different, whoever you are, if you are a mother, educate your children with environment awareness so then when they grew up as an engineer or leader, they will include the environment in their consideration before go to any projects. Environment is a very big issues with so many things roam around it, go prepare yourself with knowledge and do some simple research on how you can contribute to a better environment. Even if it may takes forever for the changes, at least we're trying.
